Arne Jacobsen

Arne Jacobsen is considered to be one of functionalism’s most important designers. He was born in 1902 in Copenhagen, where he displayed artistic talent early on. For many years, Jacobsen worked with Fritz Hansen – a collaboration that put Danish design on the map in the international design world. Their well-known works from the 1950s include The Seven, The Ant, The Swan and The Egg.
