Alvar Aalto

 

Alvar Aalto’s works span a broad range – from glass and jewellery to furniture and buildings. He was born in Kuortane, Finland, in 1898 and worked mainly in Finland. He also designed buildings in the US, Germany and other countries, and designed furniture such as the E400, 400, 44 and Tea Trolley.

 

Alvar Aalto’s furniture is found in the hotel rooms on the 5th floor.
