Poul M Wolther

Poul M. Wolther belonged to a generation of architects with roots in fine craftsmanship and who placed a premium on functionalism and materials. As an instructor at Danmarks Designskole, he influenced many young designers – especially regarding their feel for quality craftsmanship.

 

Wolther’s most famous work is the Corona easy chair, designed in collaboration with Erik Jörgensen. Poul M. Wolther’s Corona is found in all hotel rooms on the 6th floor.
